The Woodlands Art League

The Woodlands Art League (TWAL) has been a cornerstone of the local art scene since 1981. Founded by a handful of passionate artists, the league has grown into a vibrant community dedicated to promoting and supporting the visual arts in The Woodlands and surrounding areas. TWAL's mission is to make "Art for Everyone" a reality through education, instruction, exhibitions, and community involvement.

TWAL offers a wide array of classes and workshops for artists of all ages and skill levels. From studio classes providing weekly ongoing instruction to vigorous 1-3 day workshops, there's something for everyone. Youth art classes are available throughout the year, providing instruction in a variety of mediums. TWAL also facilitates Interest Groups, frequent meetups coordinated by members that focus on making art and refining skills in a social environment.
