Sacred Heart Artists Guild

Sacred Heart Artists Guild, located in Conroe, Texas, is a scratch pottery studio dedicated to sparking creativity and cherishing truth and natural beauty. The studio provides art instruction and the tools needed for success in clayworks. They offer a range of classes for ages 8 through adult (younger children must be accompanied by an adult).

At Sacred Heart Artists Guild, you can explore hand-building techniques such as pinch, coil, and slab construction. The studio can host groups of up to 10-15 people for hand-building projects and up to 8 for wheel throwing. Classes are held in the covered veranda or in the newest little building that has AC for small groups. In the event of extreme weather, classes will be held indoors. Wheel throwing workshops and classes are available as single (2 hr) or double (4 hour) workshops, or as a 6 week class. Memberships are also available for qualified students who are ready to work more independently once a week.

Sacred Heart Artists Guild ensures that the arts nurture practical curiosity, craftsmanship, and resourcefulness for students of all skill levels. It's a place to introduce newcomers to their creativity, while refining the techniques for adults unlocking their own artistic proclivities as they create by hand or on the wheel. The studio can also be reserved for private events such as birthdays, fundraisers, showers, and retreats.
