Potters' Place Pottery, established in 2000 by award-winning potter Karen Cruce, grew from her personal need for a creative space and a desire to share her knowledge. Karen's goal is to enrich lives through functional and enjoyable ceramic art. Potters' Place aims to foster a sense of community for both experienced potters and beginners in the Houston area. The studio distinguishes itself through its focus on individual attention and a welcoming atmosphere, creating a unique learning experience.

Potters' Place offers a variety of classes, including adult pottery wheel classes for all skill levels, from intro to advanced. They also offer one-time wheel sessions, workshops, children’s parties, and team-building events. Classes cover hand-building, sculpting, and throwing on the wheel. The studio provides kiln firing services and studio time for independent potters. Materials such as clay and tools are available for purchase.
