Oak Knoll Pottery Studio is run by Amy Lancaster, who discovered her passion for ceramics in 2013. Inspired by her coastal roots in North Carolina, Amy infuses her love for nature into every piece. She specializes in layering colors and creating fluid forms, particularly her signature wave pattern. Today, Amy shares her expertise and passion with the community through classes and studio memberships.

Oak Knoll Pottery Studio offers a variety of classes for all skill levels, including beginner wheel throwing, intermediate wheel throwing, and beginner hand-building. These courses, running in 6 or 8 week sessions, prepare students for membership by building skills and familiarity with the studio environment. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced potter, you'll find a class to suit your needs. The studio also offers private lessons for one-on-one instruction.
