Colors of the Heart Studio

Colors of the Heart Studio is owned and operated by Betsy Miller, an award-winning artist with a passion for sharing her love of art with children. Since 1989, Betsy has been devoted to teaching art principles and helping children discover their artistic potential. Her commitment to the Friendswood community is evident in her role as a founding member of the Friendswood Annual Chalk Walk, which raises money for local public art displays.

Colors of the Heart Studio provides chalk pastel art classes for children of all ages. Students will learn to create unique and beautiful chalk pastel artworks in multi-week sessions. Students can purchase a set of pastels from Betsy to keep and reuse for future courses, or they can purchase their own (chalk pastels only, no oil pastels). Students will take home a finished 16" x 20" chalk pastel piece.
