The Visual Art League of Lewisville (VAL) is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to connecting the community through art. Founded in 1978, VAL began as a small group of artists seeking to enhance the appreciation of artistic talent in Lewisville, Texas. Today, VAL continues to grow thanks to the energy and vision of its members, volunteers, and supporters who believe in the power of art to transform lives. They are grateful to call the Lewisville Grand Theater “home.”
VAL offers monthly meetings and art talks, gallery exhibitions with opening receptions, special community events, and workshops. Workshop examples include Gouache Landscape Painting and Exciting Lemons. Free workshops taught by Visual Art League of Lewisville members are also offered to the community.
Exhibitions, opening receptions, monthly member meetings and art talks are free and open to the public and are family-friendly. VAL provides a vibrant community where creativity flourishes, local artists shine, and new connections are made every day. Explore, connect, create, and be inspired!
