Twisted Clay in Grapevine, TX, is more than just a pottery studio; it's a community where artists gather to explore the humble material of clay. The studio is led by an instructor whose passion for ceramics began during her travels and deepened through studies with experienced potters. After years of selling her work at art shows, she transitioned to teaching from her home studio in 2016, discovering a love for sharing her craft with both new and experienced potters.

Twisted Clay offers a variety of classes and workshops for adults and teens (select workshops). Beginner intensive workshops cover the basics of wheel throwing over several days, culminating in a glazing session. Weekly pottery lessons are structured in five-week cycles, covering throwing, trimming, and glazing. The studio provides a supportive environment for students to learn and refine their skills.

At Twisted Clay, students find not only a rewarding creative outlet but also a welcoming community of friends. The studio hosts an annual pottery sale, showcasing the work of local artists and further strengthening its connection to the community.
