About This Studio
Texas Center for Arts + Academics (TCA+A) supports two nationally ranked charter schools in Fort Worth: Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts and Texas School of the Arts. TCA+A's mission is to foster a lifelong passion for artistic and academic excellence. Established to support and grow these charter schools, Fine Arts Conservatories, and other artistic endeavors, TCA+A is dedicated to youth development through an arts-based academic worldview. TCA+A evolved from the Texas Boys Choir, founded in 1946, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to nurturing young artists.
The charter schools offer students daily access to high-quality fine arts instruction woven into a rigorous academic curriculum. TCA+A also provides Fine Arts Conservatories and various summer programs, making the arts accessible year-round. These programs cater to students in grades K-12, providing opportunities for artistic expression in various disciplines.
Texas Center for Arts + Academics strives to make the arts accessible to all within the Fort Worth community. TCA+A supplements state funding through diligent research, planning, and resourcefulness, ensuring that the schools have the resources for theater, visual art, dance, and choral programs.
