The LAC - The Lewisville Arts Conservatory

The Lewisville Arts Conservatory (the LAC) is part of the Music and Fine Arts Ministry of First Baptist Church of Lewisville. The LAC provides a creative outlet for people of all ages to study and develop their God-given talents. The conservatory focuses on providing a safe, God-honoring atmosphere for students to train skillfully in various art forms. They aim to aid in the development of self-esteem, social interaction, personality, skill, and accomplishment through the arts.

the LAC offers a wide range of classes including private lessons in piano, violin, voice, drums, cello, clarinet, saxophone, and guitar. They also provide group lessons and classes in Musical Theater, Art, Dance, Play Workshop, and PreK Classes. The 2025/26 season includes classes like Alice in Wonderland Jr., Big Bad, The SpongeBob Musical Youth Edition, and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.

At the LAC, the emphasis is on developing gifts in a nurturing environment. It is a place where students can find lasting friendships and explore various styles and genres of music and art. The LAC desires to aid in the development of students in the areas of self-esteem, social interaction, personality, skill and accomplishment.
