Sunset Art Studios

Sunset Art Studios, co-directed by Emily Riggert and Rachel Rushing, is a non-profit arts organization in Dallas focused on social practice. Since opening in 2016, Sunset has been committed to increasing access to the arts in southern Dallas, partnering with local organizations to reduce social and geographic barriers. The studio prioritizes exploring and resisting systemic exclusion from the arts, with a focus on inclusivity and community empowerment through art.

Sunset Art Studios offers a variety of programming, including free community arts programs designed to engage the public and provide access to art experiences. They also operate an artist sustainability program, providing affordable studio space and a supportive network for artists, including monthly studio dinners and critique nights.
