Orr Clay Studio

Orr Clay Studio is led by Eric Orr and his wife, Tana Holderman-Orr, who bring over 30 years of combined experience as educators and artists in the North Texas community. Eric holds multiple degrees in art and education, while Tana discovered her passion for clay after a long career teaching art. Together, they created Orr Clay Studio to share their love of ceramics with others. The studio emphasizes a hands-on, personal approach to learning, fostering a supportive environment for students of all levels.

Orr Clay Studio offers a variety of ceramic lessons and workshops, including introductory classes, wheel throwing, and hand-building techniques. Adult lessons cover clay, private instruction, and glazing. There are also classes available for kindergarten through 12th-grade students, covering various mediums, not just clay. Jack Weathersby, a wheel-throwing instructor, joined the studio in 2023.
