BrushBugs Art Classes, founded in 2024 by Renata Saldanha, is a home-based art studio in Flower Mound. Renata brings over 12 years of experience teaching and inspiring young artists from kindergarten through 8th grade. As a dedicated art educator and artist, Renata has helped hundreds of students discover their love for art, build technical skills, and gain the confidence to express themselves. BrushBugs aims to nurture each child's creativity, confidence, and artistic voice in a supportive environment.
BrushBugs offers after-school art classes designed to inspire children ages 6-12. Classes explore painting, sculpture, mixed media, and more, building skills and confidence through hands-on projects. BrushBugs also offers art camps during school breaks, including Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring Break. Fun Friday Camps run from 5:00-8:00 PM and include all materials, pizza (gluten-free available), and snacks. Painting parties are available on Thursdays and Saturdays for all ages, with custom projects available.
