Art Smart Art School in Arlington, Texas, is owned and operated by Gary and Crystal Templin, professional artists with a passion for both kids and art. With roots in graphic design and experience teaching art across various grade levels, Gary and Crystal founded Art Smart to provide quality art instruction in a fun and accessible way. They believe in nurturing imagination and building confidence in young artists through a step-by-step, easy-to-learn method.

The studio offers a range of classes for kids, including drawing, painting, and sculpture. Students can explore techniques in pencil, colored pencil, charcoal, watercolor, soft pastels, acrylic on canvas, and polymer clay sculpture. Art Smart provides weekly after-school classes for ages 6-11 and 12-18 during the school year, weekly morning summer camps for ages 6-10, and 2.5-hour Saturday workshops for ages 6-10.
